Sarah lands show at Bravo
Sarah Jessica Parker’s art-competition reality show has found a home at Bravo.
The network has picked up “American Artist,” a “Project Runway”-style series that takes on the art world.
Aspiring artists compete to produce various styles of artwork (painting, sculpting, etc.), which is then judged by a panel of experts. Parker’s Pretty Matches production company is helping develop the project.
If ordered to series, the show would give Bravo another skill-driven reality show to its lineup, along with “Top Chef” and “Top Design.”

SJP stands up to cancer
At yesterday’s All Star Game at Yankee Stadium, Sheryl Crow and Sarah Jessica Parker introduced the next phase of the Stand Up To Cancer with the MLB, which includes a PSA with Jessica Biel urging fans to text a $5 donation to the campaign while they are at the game. Anyone can txt to donate, whether at a game or not. Simply text “STAND” to 40202 to automatically make your $5 donation. 100% of the donations go to Stand Up To Cancer to urgently move cancer research forward.
This is where the end of cancer begins: when we unite together in one unstoppable movement and Stand Up To Cancer.
New Layout!
The new layout is online! I hope you all like it. I wasn’t going to change it. However, I kept getting emails and complaints about the last one not showing up right or that it looked funny in firefox. So this one has been tested in both browsers and it works fine. I decided to make something a bit brighter this time. Enjoy and leave a comment to let me know what you think!
‘Sex and the City’ sequel in early development
A sequel in the works? What do you think about this?
Get ready for more cosmos and screaming women! After months of idle talk, HBO has confirmed that a sequel to the Sex and the City movie is in the early stages of development — no surprise, considering the first spin-off from the series has earned $146 million since it debuted in theaters at the end of May. Michael Lombardo, president of HBO’s programming group, told a group of reporters at the cable network’s annual press tour in Los Angeles today, “We’re really heartened by the fans’ enthusiasm. Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie.” Lombardo wouldn’t expound on his comments but a source confirmed that Warner Bros. has begun discussions on a sequel, adding that the studio is hoping to fast-track the project. However, no deal is in place and there is no script. In fact, the lead actresses involved are taking a cautious attitude towards another film, not wanting to rush a sequel and risk disappointing their loyal fans. Warner Bros. hasn’t returned calls seeking comment.
