Sarah Jessica Parker’s family is not for sale, thankyouverymuch.

It is, however, available for free viewing to anyone with a computer and a constitution strong enough to withstand cuteness overload.

The new mama and hubby Matthew Broderick have released the first photo of newborn twins Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick (pictured in the loving arms of SJP) and Tabitha Hodge Broderick (already the frontrunner for lead daddy’s girl).

The photo, which includes curious big bro James Wilkie, was released to the world on Monday—not, per typical celeb fashion, to the highest glossy bidder. (The couple made a similar no-frills reveal of James back in 2002.)

The twins themselves were born via a much-hounded surrogate at East Ohio Regional Hospital last Tuesday.

Congratulations Sarah!!!

A publicist for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick says a woman carrying twins for the couple has given birth to healthy girls.

Publicist Simon Halls says the girls were born Monday afternoon at an Ohio hospital. He would not specify the hospital or city.

Halls says that Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 pounds and 11 ounces, and that Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds.

Parker, the 44-year-old star of the TV show and film “Sex and the City,” and Broderick, her 47-year-old husband and fellow actor, had confirmed they were expecting twin daughters by a surrogate.

They were unable to conceive since Parker gave birth to a son who is now 6.

A small update… I finally got around to doing a full affiliates check. With Sex and the City 2 planning to go into production any time now, further updates have been released regarding the the sequel to last years big screen outing. Sarah Jessica Parker starred alongside Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth as New York columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City movie.

Recently the actress spoke to press about next years sequel, and when questioned about rumours that Carrie will be pregnant she admitted to press that she still hadn’t seen a script:

“Well, first of all, I really don’t know because I haven’t seen a script. I know an outline.”

Of course, the press being the press, they -um- pressed her further:

“I know, I know. I can’t pretend anymore! I feel like you’re looking inside my soul. I won’t tell you.”
