What an honor! Sarah has been named the spokesperson of Will Rogers Institute’s Summer Theatrical PSA! A photoshoot image has been released, which you can view by clicking on the image to the left, and you can read more about it below. Enjoy!

The Will Rogers Institute named Sarah Jessica Parker as its 2011 Summer Theatrical PSA Spokesperson. The fundraising campaign, happening in movie theaters across the United States, is a time-honored tradition that began in 1936 and featured James Cagney, Humphrey Bogart and Bette Davis in the first public service announcement.

Throughout the summer, movie patrons donate to WRI by giving their spare change, making a special purchase at participating movie theaters or making a one-time donation by texting WRI to 85994. The money that is collected funds pulmonary research laboratories, medical school fellowships, neonatal ventilators for children’s hospitals and free educational materials. The summer campaign runs through Labor Day weekend. For more information, visit www.wrinstitute.org or call toll-free 888-994-3863.

Upcoming Cover Alert : Vogue August

Word is out that Sarah will be covering Vogue’s August issue, as part of her promotion for I don’t know how she does it. Check it out:

Speaking of August…our sources have also confirmed that Sarah Jessica Parker will cover Vogue’s age issue this year, to promote her upcoming film I Don’t Know How She Does It. Her most recent cover was last May and it’s the second time she’s covered the age issue–the first was in 2003, when she was 37. If she sounds like a safe choice, that’s because we hear she was not Vogue‘s first. They had plans to shoot someone else for August but had to find a replacement at the last minute and Parker was their best option.

SJP’s Charity Bag Revealed

Sarah Jessica Parker is currently giving a bag for a charity auction, and now we know more about it! Check it out:

Earlier in the week, it was reported that the bag, which was donated by Parker to the Donegal charity ‘Killybegs Women’s Group’, would cost the average working person a fortune to buy.

Although the group hoped that the description of the bag could be kept under wraps and even stored it in the local Garda station, they gave into pressure yesterday and revealed all.

According to The Star, the bag is a Paco Rabanne ‘Le 69’ creation worth €1,500.

Speaking to the newspaper, group spokesperson Anne McSharry said: “Since the story broke our phones haven’t stopped ringing. It is unbelievable the interest the bag has stirred.”

The handbag will be raffled off at a fund-raising event on July 15th.

Sarah Jessica and Willie Garson’s Kids Are BFFs Too

Sarah Jessica Parker and Willie Garson were BFFs on Sex and the City. And now, their kids are, too. Garson, who played Stanford Blatch on the HBO series and feature films, tells PEOPLE that his son Nathen is great friends with James Wilkie — Parker and Matthew Broderick‘s 8½-year-old son.

Parker was “an inspiration to me when I was adopting,” the White Collar star, 47, told PEOPLE Wednesday at the FiFi fragrance awards in New York. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, what happens when he says this? And what do I do?’ And she was really great.”

Nathen and James Wilkie are about eight months apart in age, “so they’re buddies,” Garson says. “We go out to the beach with them and have a great time.”

At the time of the adoption in 2009, Parker and Broderick explained to their son that Nathen had come from a rougher background. And James Wilkie “was just very welcoming,” Garson says.

Garson says he and Parker were friends for 20 years before Sex and the City, and are still as close as ever. And how does Garson tell Parker’s 23-month-old twin daughters Tabitha and Loretta apart?

“When you walk in, you’re like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m forgetting which one is which,’” he says. “It’s hairdo, temperament and facial expressions. One is more temperamental, one is calm, calm, calm. One always has hair like Tina Turner in Thunderdome.”

Cynthia Nixon is ‘Unsure’ About More “Sex and the City”

Cynthia Nixon isn’t as confident as others might be about more Sex and the City films. But then again, she admits she never is.

“Who knows, who knows?,” the actress tells Zap2it about again reprising her Emmy-winning portrayal of Miranda Hobbes, following Sarah Jessica Parker’s recent hint of another possible chapter. “I go about my life, and if there’s going to be another story that Michael Patrick King writes and directs, that’ll be great. And if not, we’ve had a wonderful run.”

Indeed, having chalked up six HBO seasons and two movie spinoffs, Nixon reflects her run with the franchise has been “amazing. It’s nice that the thing you’re most famous for is something you’re so proud of. Some people can get recognized for something they might feel lukewarm about, though it’s popular. I’m proud that ‘Sex and the City’ was both wildly popular and wildly good.”

Sarah Jessica Talks Even More “Sex and the City” Movies

Since Sarah Jessica Parker’s pop-culture legacy is so tied to her portrayal of Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City and its two movies, whenever MTV News has the opportunity to chat with the actress, we have to get an update on the beloved series.

Thankfully, we caught up with Parker at the Cannes Film Festival and asked her to comment on the rumors about a “SATC” prequel, as well as her thoughts on returning to the famed role of Ms. Bradshaw one more time.

“I think it always comes down to story and what is the story people want to tell,” Bradshaw said of the rumored adaptations of “The Carrie Diaries.” “Obviously, I feel proprietary in the best possible way about that entire franchise as it were, but I think there are lots of talented storytellers and obviously lots of talented actors who might be a part of it. I think, like anything, you base your opinion on material and content, and I think that would be the only way for any of us to have an opinion.”

Regarding a future “SATC” installment, be it on the big screen or small, Parker revealed that there might be another tale to tell.

“I think there is perhaps one more small, important story to tell,” she said. “Whether or not we choose to do that and when we choose to do that remains, obviously, the unknown, but it’s nice to ponder.”

One more story, huh? We mentioned that it sounded like Parker has that specific story in her head.

“I don’t, but somebody else does,” she said with a knowing smile.
