Sarah Jessica Parker Gives Us A First Look At Her New Shoe Range

“InStyle” — If there’s one woman who knows what makes a good shoe, it’s indisputably Sarah Jessica Parker. After spending years walking in Carrie Bradshaw’s GORGEOUS Manolo Blahniks, some of that great taste has rubbed off on her — and can definitely be seen mirrored in her amazing shoe range, SJP Collection.

Launched at the beginning of last year, the 50-year-old’s first-ever range of heels amassed such a cult following that demand exceeded the styles made, making it a complete sell out.

After catching her breath and re-stocking, she then managed to find time to collaborate with achingly cool brand TOGA on its AW15 collection which was shown at New york Fashion Week to rave reviews. So yep, she’s enjoyed a pretty stellar first-year all things considered…

However, after giving us a first look at her latest designs, we reckon her spring 2015 range is going to be even hotter (if that was even possible!)

Moving award from the colour-pop courts that kick-started the collection, SJP has really flexed her design muscles to come up with these show-stoppers. Take a peek…

What did we tell you? HOT.

Taking to her Instagram to unveil these insane heels SJP said: ‘So pleased to be spending time on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico meeting so many friendly faces. I’ll be at @nordstrompr for another hour. Come say hello! Dress by @evolutionvtg. Shoes by @sjpcollection. X, Sj.’

There’s no doubt that these glittering heels — complete with sexy cross-over straps, lashings of buckles and a statement, jewel-encrusted t-bar — are so wow-worthy that even the super-stylish Carrie Bradshaw would have to take a second glance.

While we love how SJP’s paired them with a checked silk midi dress, we reckon they’d look even more badass paired with ripped boyfriend jeans, a marl grey tee and an edgy leather biker. Feel free to send a pair our way and we’ll gladly style them up for you, Sarah…

We don’t know about you but if the first the SJP Collection’s SS15 heels look *this* good, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the range will look like. As soon as they drop, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Sarah Jessica Parker Names New Shoe Style After Pal Andy Cohen

“People” — Sure, Andy Cohen has a very impressive résumé, but his biggest achievement might be the fact that he’s been honored with his very own shoe in Sarah Jessica Parker‘s eponymous footwear line, SJP. (That’s gotta be right up there with winning an Oscar, right?)

The TV host shared a photo from the Watch What Happens Live set, relaxing in his chair in one of his classic tailored suits, plus the sleek nude sandals from Parker’s latest collection, aptly named “The Andy.”

“It fits like a glove! I feel like a man AND a woman,” he wrote in the caption. Looking for a splurge? Pick up your own pair for $345 right now at Zappos!

Parker has named other shoes after people who are close to her, which is why she couldn’t resist calling one of the styles “The Carrie,” to immortalize her iconic, shoe-obsessed Sex and the City character, Carrie Bradshaw. (She even did a photo shoot with the shoes on Carrie’s front steps!)

“I’ve introduced them as if they are living, human people rather than just a shoe, an inanimate sort of object,” Parker said of her passion for the different styles, while moonlighting as Oprah’s shoe stylist. (Her talents are truly limitless.)

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Shoe Line to Launch in Dubai

“TIME” — Sarah Jessica Parker is perhaps taking a cue from her Sex and the City alter ego and heading to the United Arab Emirates with her shoe line.

But while Carrie Bradshaw visited Abu Dhabi in the franchise’s second film (which was panned by critics), Parker is preparing to launch her SJP Collection in Dubai, marking the line’s debut in the international market. The collection will be available from Dec. 3 and Parker will be making appearances at Harvey Nichols on Dec. 7 and Bloomingdale’s on Dec. 9 to promote the line.

Parker created the shoe collection with the CEO of Manolo Blahnik, George Malkemus. The shoes, which are already available to buy in the US, are identifiable by the signature strip of grosgrain ribbon on the back of every heel.

“SJP Collection” Now Featured at Neiman Marcus

“Refinery 29” — Her Carrie Bradshaw days are far behind her, but Sarah Jessica Parker’s shoe game has certainly not faltered. Unsurprisingly, Parker’s debut footwear collection for Nordstrom last February was a huge success — the styles were elegant, timeless, and as tall as one would expect from the stiletto queen herself. Now, Parker is spreading the shoe love to Neiman Marcus, where you can pre-order popular styles like the Phoebe, the Fawn, and — of course — the Carrie.

As we know, Parker does not mess when it comes to shoes. She gave her Vogue house guest major side eye when he dared ask “Heels or flats?” However, SJP does accommodate those who wish to stay closer to the ground: There’s a suede ballerina flat named Audrey calling your name. Still, the majority of the collection props you up with skinny stiletto heels and delicate ankle straps, much like the shoes Bradshaw once fawned over while window-shopping on the Upper East Side.

This Neiman Marcus launch also marks Parker’s first expansion into home: The collection includes a special-edition candle with “notes of black amber, wild fig, and ginger,” according to the site. So, you can walk like a Bradshaw, and have your living room smell like Parker’s NYC brownstone, all in one checkout order. For the Carrie on your holiday shopping list, see some of the SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker styles, ahead.

Hey everybody! As you all know, Sarah Jessica attended a few SJP Collection Summer Tour Meet and Greet Events in late August. She made 3 appearances at 3 different Nordstrom stores, where she met with fans, signed autographs, and more. You can check out 35 high quality photos of Sarah Jessica at the meet and greet events. More photos will be uploaded as I find them. Also, sorry for the lateness of the photos! I’ve been rather busy with school. Hoping to get things back on track. Enjoy!

Video: Sarah Jessica Parker on Re-Sale Style

When Sarah Jessica Parker launched her shoe collection at Nordstrom in downtown Seattle, she looked every bit the part of a fashion icon.

But that doesn’t mean she spent a fortune on her outfit.

“It’s an old Anne Klein jumper, from a thrift store,” she said. “I always liked thrift stores. Some of it was out of necessity because I didn’t have a lot of money, I couldn’t have bought new clothing at a nice store.”

Now that she can, Parker still believes in mixing high-end with resale.

A trait she shares with her most popular character, “Carrie” on Sex and the City.

When the show started, the budget was small and the wardrobe designer consigned a lot of pieces.

“Maybe because of that connection, the necessity of thrift with Carrie’s sort of reckless indulgence in luxury and high price clothing, kind of helped us tell the story,” Parker said.

Thrifting helped Parker tell her own story, too.

“There was a place in New York City called Alice Underground,” she said. “It was a thrift store on the Upper West Side, and they just had these big trunks, and there were hundreds and hundreds of dresses, thrown in, balled up and wrinkled in various states of neglect. But I knew from the beginning that nobody else would have that dress.”

To this day, she believes clothing is a means to personal expression.

“In the younger part of your life, you spend a lot of years just trying to fit in, just trying to fit in, just trying to be like everyone else. And then this shift happens for most people, and then they spend the rest of their lives saying I’m actually different, I’m actually myself,” Parker said. “It illustrates or expresses or conveys that you’re your own person. And sometimes, you can’t use words, or you don’t have the confidence to say that. Sometimes what you wear helps tell somebody something.”

SJP Collection Available in 5 Additional Nordstrom Stores Fall 2014

Nordstrom, Inc. announced that five additional Nordstrom stores will carry Sarah Jessica Parker’s eponymous collection of shoes and handbags this fall. SJP Collection, launched in February 2014 exclusively with the retailer, will be available at Nordstrom Bellevue Square in Bellevue, Wash; Old Orchard in Skokie, Ill.; Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Calif.; Somerset Collection in Troy, Mich.; and Barton Creek Square in Austin, Texas, in addition to 25 stores already carrying the line and nordstrom.com/SJP.

She will present the collection to Nordstrom customers as part of a three-day tour from August 21-23 at Nordstrom Houston Galleria, Tysons Corner, and Roosevelt Field. The tour is a continuation of her whistle-stop tour in March, which included Nordstrom stores in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and Dallas.

Parker’s dedication to classic, ladylike shoe silhouettes in unexpected colors carries through in her fall collection, which features pumps, booties and riding books in playful hues like French navy, red, olive and coral. Customer-favorite styles from spring, including the Lady and Carrie pumps will also be available in new colors. Shoes range in price from $285 to $695. The collection also features five new handbag styles for fall ranging from $220-$495.

Parker continued her tradition of naming shoes in the SJP Collection after women and men who inspire her. Highlights from the fall collection include:

• The Blythe Pump, $375 – “Named for the great Blythe Danner, this beautiful shoe exudes a sort of sophistication. A metropolitan personality. I’m thrilled with the inky blue and the shoe’s proud silhouette.”
• The Pat Boot, $695 – “This is my sexy boot. Try getting it off me! I’ll find a reason to wear it as often as possible. Named for Pat Field, who has been an enormous influence on me and millions of others. Without her contributions, Carrie Bradshaw would have been incomplete.”
• The Serge bootie, $455 – “Named for Serge Normant, [the hair stylist] with whom I’ve worked for 14 years. This style joins the first collection of SJP Collection booties. I love the suede/color combination and how it sits on the leg. And I think it’s very modern.”
• The Rachel pump, $355 – “Named for my sister. I think this is an exquisite shoe. A great version of a slingback that is wickedly sexy but still ladylike.”
